Is TYLA affiliated with 4-H? No
Is TYLA only for kids that live in Tippecanoe County? No! Anyone who meets age requirements is free to join.
What are the age requirements? Members must be no older than 21 by Jan 1 of current year. There is no lower age limit but showman must be able to safely show their animal(s).
What species can I show? Our current plan is to offer at least one show per membership year in the following species: beef, swine, sheep and Boer goats. We would love to grow and add more species. Please reach out if you’d like to help with this.
Do I have to be a member to attend shows? No. Shows are open to anyone who meets age requirements unless otherwise stated on the show flyer.
Where will the shows be held? Show locations are TBD. See show flyers for more information.
When are the shows? Check out our show flyers or follow us on Facebook for up to date info.
